OUR STORY

Springfield Chapter #84, National Sojourners was granted a Charter to organize on December 14, 1927. On January 1, 1930 it ceased to exist for a time.

Until on a Sunday in September 22, 2019 it was rechartered at the 198th Annual Communication of the Grand Lodge of Missouri, with the assistance of St. Louis Chapter #22, National Sojourners.

Upon the completion of the initiation of 10 new members into the Chapter, Regional Representative Dennis Fetter presented the newly appointed President Carlin Smittle and Secretary James McManigle the Charter for Springfield Chapter #84, National Sojourners.

Our Chapter is rooted in the belief that we all have an inherent responsibility to make a meaningful difference in our community. We Proudly Serve the Cause of Patriotism through Americanism Programs, Bridge of Light Programs, Flag Programs, Patriotic Observances, and performing Color Guards in Colonial Uniform.

We also support Educational and Youth Programs with a variety of active projects and our dedicated Veteran Freemasons.

Since our founding, we have been proud to witness how our activities have benefitted the Springfield community and beyond. Want to take part? Contribute to our work by joining and volunteering today.
